Though I'm originally from Michigan, Atlanta has been my home base since 1995. Much of my career was spent building teams and helping organizations grow by simplifying complex challenges and creating opportunities for people to succeed. That same passion is now focused on helping individuals navigate change, pursue growth, and discover new possibilities.

Today, I serve as a professor at Georgia State University, author of Cue the Lifeboat: A Choose-Your-Current Guide to Get Your Ship Together (CueTheLifeboat.com), artist, and entrepreneur. Before entering higher education, I spent more than two decades in corporate leadership roles, but creativity has always been a central part of my journey.

As a fine art painter, I traveled to all 50 U.S. states in a van, creating artwork inspired by the people and places I encountered along the way. I've also designed and renovated multiple homes and creative spaces, with projects recognized by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Fine Redesign.

Choose-Your-Current Space brings together many of the things I care about most: thoughtful design, meaningful work, entrepreneurship, creativity, and community. My hope is to provide a welcoming environment where professionals can serve clients, pursue their goals, and build businesses they are proud of.
